Mothers' Union April 2018

Dear Members,

We were pleased to welcome three guests to our meeting Ruth Creighton, Carole Wise and Anne Langbridge. They joined with us to share in the shortened version of the Women's World Day of Prayer. One of our committee members, Olga Gibbons, led us in worship. Before beginning the worship, Olga gave a brief introduction into the area of Suriname, which lies in the north eastern part of South America. The Suriname women prepared the worship :- All God’s Creation Is Very Good! As Olga led the service, three of our members represented three different Suriname women while prayers and readings were said. We also sang three songs. This service was very special, celebrating creation in all its glory. It was good to share this service together, especially because the main service, which should have been on the Friday 2nd March, was cancelled due to God’s creation sending us snow from the East!

                God Bless,

Glenis, MU Branch Leader tel. 826797
