Mothers' Union December 2019

Well, it was a cold, wet and blustery Thursday evening that saw a select few of us meet at Hazelwood. It was our craft evening preparing hearts for the children to decorate the Christmas tree in St. Cyr’s during the Crib Service on Christmas Eve.

We opened our meeting with devotions led by Olga, and Glenis conducted the ‘business’ side. After that, it was heads down for craft!

The theme for our craft basically is: ‘Who is welcome at the Crib?’ and we wrote out the names of various organisations, support agencies, schools, clubs in fact, almost all aspects of life in Stonehouse have their own decorated heart welcoming them to the Crib.

How fast the year has gone; this month, on the 19th will be our Christmas gathering – so if you’ve never been before or even if you have, why not come along and meet us all in a friendly informal meeting with a few nibbles etc.,  7pm for 7.30  19th December at Hazelwood’s. With every blessing for a peaceful and wonderful Christmas.                                                      Ruth
