Mothers' Union July 2017

July 2017

What a nice change to meet in church for our monthly Mothers’ Union meeting. Our meetings always begin with a short prayer service and we were thankful for Charles' intercession prayers. We met in church because we wanted to visit all the stations that had been prepared for our local primary school to come and experience and discover what goes on in their local church, St. Cyr’s.

The six  stations were as follows:- THE CHURCH: Welcomes, Serves, Prays, Celebrates, Teaches and Shares.

As we wandered around our beautiful church, we were touched by the children’s input. They left messages of celebration, their prayers and what they would share when they went out into the community.

Twenty-five, six to seven year olds, visited from Hopelands and forty-eight, eight to nine year olds, from park school.

Our fellowship ended with refreshment and a raffle which Anne Harcourt won.

Our next meeting is our outing, which is set out below.

With love, Glenis.
