The Filling Station:

Standish Village Hall, Standish Lane, Standish, Stonehouse GL10 3DW

Tuesday 3rd July at 7pm - 8:30pm     Refreshments are served

Using monthly mid-week evening ‘celebration’ meetings held in non-church venues we have seen Christian communities grow in depth & numbers where a Filling Station has been opened. The Filling Station offers high quality speakers and teachers, contemporary sung worship and powerful, accessible prayer ministry.

Our meetings are designed to be overtly spiritual but presented in a manner that those outside the church would feel comfortable. Meetings are held monthly and aim to be short, sharp and focused in character. We find many people meet God through these meetings and faith is built up. Many church leaders find them an excellent additional ministry tool.

St Cyr’s LMT has been through a refresh in the last few months. Some of you may have noticed these changes, others not. We now meet twice a month. We have had a training day with Pauline Godfrey and are working on our role going forward as we all get used to being part of the wider Stroudwater Team & the upcoming retirement of Charles.

We are having some team building ‘training’ throughout the year, each lead by a member of the team.

Recently we have been involved in the setting up of the ‘time out’ cafe, led by Olga and it’s proven to be very popular. We are seeing people in church who would not ordinarily attend on a Sunday and we think you will agree that is wonderful. We pray it will continue to grow and touch the people of Stonehouse.

We also helped with the recent church ‘birthday’ celebrations which were great fun and the displays in church were fantastic.

The LMT is your LMT - we welcome your thoughts, views and most importantly your ideas! Please do feel free to speak to one of us Colin Wood, Val or a churchwarden.
